Meet Lois

I’m Lois, a qualified and practising life coach, passionate about helping people navigate the challenges, changes and uncertainties that life inevitably brings.

I’m also a mum of 3 young adults. Watching my own children grow up and navigate their different challenges has taught me an enormous amount. As parents, we want our children to be happy, safe and protected from pain, but I’ve learned that we can’t always remove the difficult parts of life for them. Often, it’s working through those experiences that helps them become more resilient, confident and independent.

My experiences as a mum were a big part of what inspired me to become a life coach and initially drew me towards working with teenagers and young adults. I’ve always found it easy to build a genuine rapport with young people and create a space where they feel comfortable talking openly without feeling judged or lectured.

Alongside my coaching qualification, I completed a one-year foundation in counselling, which has strengthened my listening skills and given me a deeper understanding of how our experiences, relationships and patterns can shape the way we think and feel. I have also volunteered with Childline and within a secondary school, coaching teenagers. These experiences have been incredibly valuable in developing the way I work with and support young people.

Today, my coaching also extends to women who may be navigating their own periods of change – whether that’s confidence, relationships, boundaries, work, family life, menopause, changing roles or simply reaching a point where they want to understand themselves better and work out what comes next.

My approach is warm, down-to-earth and practical. I listen carefully, ask questions that encourage you to think differently and, when needed, gently challenge the thoughts, habits or patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

Working with me is a partnership. I’m not here to tell you what to do or make decisions for you. My role is to help you gain clarity, recognise your strengths, take responsibility for the things you can change and find practical ways to move forward.

Ultimately, I want the people I work with – whatever their age or stage of life – to feel more confident in themselves and better equipped to create a life that feels fulfilling and right for them.
